Synopsis

If This is My Story is structured in three acts focusing on a couple on the brink of divorce. Amidst their individual struggles, a transformation in the final act forces a confrontation on what’s real and what’s not.

If This is My Story is one of Kan Lume and Djenar Maesa Ayu’s first artistic collaborations. It had premieres at the Salamindanaw Asian Film Festival and Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, with actor Reza Rahadian clinching a ‘Best Actor’ award at the Indonesian Screen Awards.
