Synopsis

Doyen of the Hong Kong new wave, Ann Hui leads her 2000s comeback with this visually neon-drenched horror-comedy. Set in a nocturnal Hong Kong, the film follows the aimless hairdresser Peter (Eason Chan), who hooks up with the beautiful and strange June (Shu Qi) at a nightclub. After an intense one-night stand, she steals his money and vanishes, only to cross paths through mutual friends. Intrigued by the enigmatic woman, Peter discovers the mysterious reason for June’s fondness for sunglasses and eye patches.
