Language: Korean with English subtitles
Rating: PG13 (Some Coarse Language)
Synopsis
Kim Min-hee stars as Gam-hee, an enigmatic woman who visits three of her friends in the outskirts of Seoul, while her husband is away on a business trip. The seemingly trivial, yet poignant conversations between the women about romance, food, and cats are occasionally punctuated by awkward and somewhat comical interruptions by the men in their lives.
Characteristic of director Hong Sang-soo’s oeuvre, scenes are played out in a gentle pace, with long takes and naturalistic performances that elevate the everyday into compelling observations on human relationships.
