In the fourth instalment of Li Han-hsiang’s Chien Lung series, Emperor Chien Lung, portrayed by Tony Liu, devises a cunning scheme to outwit Liu Yung (Li Kun), and recover the titles Liu had cleverly acquired during their adventures. The plan involves arranging a portrait session, with Liu Yung impersonating as the emperor. While they fondly recall their past escapades, the emperor playfully shifts blame onto Liu Yung for the unusual encounters and perilous situations they have encountered. Accusations fly between them, but Liu Yung skillfully seizes the moment to his advantage.

Wang Sha takes on the role of Old Man Hui, the leader of a group of vagabonds who entices the emperor and his ministers with seemingly sinister motives, as narrated in one of their past adventures. This film marked Wang Sha’s final appearance in cinema.
