Full Synopsis

Sway is a collection of love stories shot across Bangkok, Los Angeles, and Paris that follow the excitements and struggles of three generations of Asian immigrants in the age of globalization. In Paris, Arthur tries to convince his girlfriend to return to Asia with him before his visa expires. In Bangkok, June ponders her future with her husband as they contemplate their move to America. Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Amanda tries to fit into the family of a Japanese widower still haunted by the loss of his first wife.

Sway is the debut feature of Thai filmmaker Rooth Tang, who was raised in Los Angeles. The film premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and was screened at the Taiwan Golden Horse Film Festival and the Shanghai International Film Festival.
