A celebration of female self-pleasure and sex-positivity, She and Her Good Vibrations is an animation comedy short film that follows a stressed-out, middle-aged woman who discovers the wonders of a vibrator, but soon becomes addicted to solo pleasure sessions and loses touch with reality.
Director’s Bio
Olivia Griselda is a Singapore-based writer and producer whose works include the experimental dance film, Rite of Passage (2020). Sarah Cheok is an animation filmmaker who made the animated short film, The Growth (2019).

Set against a tropical climate of scarcity and class struggle, two crocodilian men go to a swimming pool to cool off. Shot in 16mm, the absurd reptilian interaction becomes a frenetic parable for the modern condition of our island state.

Mark Chua and Lam Li Shuen are a Singaporean filmmaker and artist duo. Their films explore existential anxiety, alienation and histories, often using surrealistic imagery, bizarre narratives and body horror as social commentary.

Synopsis
The Yu family’s dinner table has a bowl of live guppies and four fish dishes: turmeric fried fish, Hong Kong style steamed fish, fish head curry, and otak otak – all made of tilapia. The composition of the quirky family is told with a whimsically earnest voice-over narration and a vivid colour palette reminiscent of a cheery Wes Anderson, employing a multitude of fish motifs to comment on consumption and love in modern life.

Mae Hweei and Zi Ying are interested in telling simple stories derived from complicated lives. They have made two short films together, including one about eating fish. They love fish!

Jonyl Tan graduated from the BA(Hons) Animation Art programme at LASALLE College of the Arts. She is a highly motivated individual who is deeply passionate about visual art, digital media and storytelling.

Caganap Janna’s adoration for film flourished through nightly movie marathons, a solace for homesickness. Currently pursuing a BA(Hons) in Film at LASALLE College of the Arts, she translates narratives into captivating visual experiences.

A creative based in Singapore, Jian Wei sometimes goes by the name of Midas, drawing allegories from folklore based on the vision he draws for himself. His works are demanding, bold, and full of heart. He hopes to conquer the world with his works and live up to his name.

Director’s Bio
EXYL is a filmmaker and animator. They were trained in painting and drawing, but moved slowly but surely into time-based mediums like live action and animation. They graduated with a BFA with honours in Film/Animation/Video from the Rhode Island School of Design and have shown in internationally acclaimed festivals like Slamdance, Ann Arbor, Singapore International Film Festival, winning the Terri Schwartz Asian Film Award at Ann Arbor and Best Animation at National Youth Film Awards
