Synopsis
Where is the line between discipline and abuse? 13-year-old Alan attends class under physically aggressive tuition teacher Beatrice. As the class progresses, so does her abusive treatment of the children. As Alan tries to secretly record audio evidence with his phone, his attempts fail to go as planned.

Alistair Quak’s work spans an array of genres, striving to push the boundaries of storytelling with his visceral cinematic style. His works have been featured at Cannes Film Festival, National Youth Film Awards, and more.

Synopsis
This horror cult cartoon series on TV stars Gunkman, Sallysweets and Roboji – cute monster school-children who terrorize human characters. Outside of the TV show, GUNKWORLD begins to advertise its brand through commercials and merchandise, which quickly takes over the planet at an unholy rate.

About the Director
Mark Chee is a Singaporean illustrator, concept artist, filmmaker and pro e-sports athlete. He constantly challenges aesthetic appeal in storytelling, underscored by his love for dark comedy, horror, and cult Japanese manga.

Synopsis
In a surreal tableau, a man with a brewing machine for a head, discontent with his own body, attempts to do what he can to improve its flavour. The Cup is a meditation on being in the world, upon the flattening out of life amidst the current pandemic.

About the Director
Mark Chua and Lam Li Shuen’s work explores the possibilities of resistance in the presentation and production of narrativity. Their films have screened at international film festivals in Australia, Brazil, Finland, UAE, USA, Philippines and Spain.

Synopsis
A young woman with a full body rash is driven to violence during a forbidden encounter with her sister’s boyfriend.

About the Director
Kris Ong’s credits include short films and music videos that have collectively screened at over 30 film festivals and platforms. She has written script coverage for an international variety of scripts, short stories, and novels.

Synopsis
Enslaved in a surreal world of living objects, a Lamb Chop does whatever it takes to make ends meet.

About the Director
Huang Junxiang enjoys good comedy and has produced a number of feature films including InThe Room and Apprentice.

Co-founder of independent animation studio Finding Pictures, Jerrold Chong’s films have screened at various international festivals.
