Full Synopsis
Isolated and unable to fit in with locals despite his five years of studying in Paris, Arash plans to return to his native Iran. Hoping to change his mind, his best friends Ashkan and Hossein convince him to go on a sun-drenched trip around the south of France. Before Summer Ends is a delightful buddy road trip comedy by way of a hybrid documentary that – through the perspective of the migrant experience – captures the spirit of the European summer, with its all but fleeting promises of camaraderie, romance and freedom.
