Synopsis

In the sequel to The Crazy Bumpkins, Ah Niu is released from prison following an unfortunate conviction. Returning to his former home, he discovers that his beloved girlfriend, Ah Hua, has married an abusive man in Macau. Naively, Ah Niu reunites with his greedy Uncle Chou, and they set off to rescue Ah Hua from her oppressive marriage.

Even as Ah Niu dedicates himself to the challenging task of liberating Ah Hua from her husband, his well-intentioned efforts repeatedly lead to chaotic situations and mishaps, leaving him physically drained and unemployed. Despite the setbacks, Ah Niu maintains his unwavering optimism. However, he stumbles upon a shocking secret that Ah Hua and his uncle have been concealing from him.
