Synopsis 

Donghwa, an aspiring poet in his thirties, drops off Junhee, his girlfriend of three years, at her house and is struck by its size and beauty. He plans to look around the front yard before leaving, but he runs into Junhee’s father and ends up spending the entire day getting to know her family.The day unfolds with wine and food, quietly revealing the family’s unspoken judgments of him

In this summery, languorous meet-the-parents scenario set in quiet suburbia, Hong Sang-soo’s continuation of lo-fi experimentation peels back the layers of class anxieties and interrogates his protagonist’s idealistic and conceited life as an artist.
