Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy follows a shy rapper from the slums of Mumbai as he battles class and social barriers and rises to fame. One of the highest-grossing Bollywood films internationally, the film had its World Premiere at the 2019 Berlin International Film Festival and won the NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema) Award at the 2019 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
