Inspired by Asian Film Archive’s own repository of films, Off the Catalogue presents a curated mix from its collection, ready to be rediscovered by contemporary eyes. 

This month, AFA honours the life and career of P. Ramlee, who would have turned 96 in 2025, and whose legacy continues to inspire generations across the region. To mark the occasion, AFA presents a curated selection of four Shaw Malay film productions that trace key moments in his professional journey—from his early stardom to the brilliant comedies and dramas that he starred, directed, scripted, composed—offering a focused glimpse into the enduring impact of a multi-talented cinematic icon.

Do note that Oldham Theatre operates on a free seating arrangement. Doors will open 10 minutes before showtime so arrive early to choose a seat and avoid disrupting the screenings as AFA does not play ads and screenings will start promptly.

All patrons are encouraged to purchase your tickets online. If you choose to purchase tickets or merchandise at Oldham Theatre’s box office, cashless payment is preferred.
