Inspired by Asian Film Archive’s own repository of films, Off the Catalogue presents a curated mix from its collection, ready to be rediscovered by contemporary eyes.

In May, a selection of martial arts films from the 1970s is spotlighted, including Singapore’s only kungfu film, Ring of Fury (1973), and a newly digitised Black Dragon, a 1973 Hong Kong-Philippine co-production by Bobby A. Suarez.

Off the Catalogue screenings will occur every Wednesday, 8pm at Oldham Theatre

They Call Him Chop-Suey (1975, dir, Richard Suarez)
Wednesday, 3 May, 8pm

They Call Her… Cleopatra Wong (1972, dir. George Richardson)
