Inspired by Asian Film Archive’s own repository of films, Off the Catalogue presents a curated mix from its collection, ready to be rediscovered by contemporary eyes. 

In celebration of AFA’s 20th anniversary, we proudly present three restored titles that mark significant milestones in our restoration journey. From our first film selected for Cannes Classics to the first Cathay-Keris Malay film to be shown at Rotterdam, these gems are a testament to the rich cinematic heritage we are dedicated to preserving.

Do note that Oldham Theatre operates on a free seating arrangement. Doors will open 10 minutes before showtime so arrive early to choose a seat and avoid disrupting the screenings as AFA does not play ads and screenings will start promptly.

All patrons are encouraged to purchase your tickets online. If you choose to purchase tickets or merchandise at Oldham Theatre’s box office, cashless payment is preferred.
