A schoolteacher and his wife relocate to Indonesia and move into a new home. Soon after, they discover that the former house owner had committed grisly murders and buried the victims on
the property. A mysterious painting that was left behind in the house holds a strange power and seems to compel the wife towards murderous thoughts of her own.
