Zhi Wen finds himself entrapped in a strange world of vice and deception.

An interpretation of the story of the three little pigs set in the modern landscape of urbanized Singapore, In the House of Straw is the debut feature of Singaporean filmmaker Yeo Siew Hua, who started making the film when he was 21. The film competed for the Golden Kinnaree Award at the 2009 Bangkok International Film Festival. His second feature A Land Imagined won the Golden Leopard at the 71st Locarno Film Festival in 2018.
