Synopsis

Loosely set after Wong’s Days of Being Wild and In the Mood for Love, 2046 follows Chow Mo-Wan as he attempts to write a science fiction dystopian novel about a place called 2046, where time is frozen, and people are immersed in past memories. Chow’s writings are intertwined with his real-life encounters with several women who live in the room next to his.
