Ah Chi (Meng Yuan-wen) perseveres through mistreatment while working as a waiter in Mr. Su’s (Wang Sha) restaurant, driven by a determination to settle scores with those who have wronged him. He acquires a rare martial arts technique from Chef Chang Piao (Yuen Hua), a skilled pugilist in disguise. When confronted by a wealthy and vengeful customer, Chi’s newfound skills even earns the admiration of his boss.

However, Chi’s troubles escalate as he becomes entangled with a gang seeking retribution against Chang Piao. Although he offers to assist Chang, he is redirected to the Drunkard, the sole individual capable of defeating the gang. Chi becomes a student of the Drunkard and, alongside Chang, they confront their adversaries.
