Full Synopsis

Frank and Lily, musicians on tour, set off on an adventurous journey across Australia in search for the mystical character known only as the Sunbathing Dog. As they traverse the country, they meet diverse people who share their musings about composing music, the act of dreaming and encounter new and unique sounds.

Cannonball is a conceptual docu-fiction road film featuring Singaporean art rock band ARE, comprising directors Mark Chua and Lam Li Shuen, on their album tour across Australia.

Part of a two-part release consisting of the film and a music album, the film was based on the music of the Cannonball album, while the album was based on the film to be made on the tour.
