Full Synopsis

Set against the backdrop of footage presenting daily life in Cameroon, a man and woman recounts the story of their romance through letters exchanged. Accompanied by an original score by De La Cruz, the differences between the lovers are unveiled as the initial rush of falling in love wanes.

A multi-hyphenate experimental filmmaker, Khavn De La Cruz made this film as tribute to Cameroon, a country that has embraced Philippine cinema. This film is also a dedication to film critics, Alexis Tioseco and Nika Bohinc, whose tragic passing shook the film community in the Philippines. Cameroon Love Letter (for solo piano) premiered at the 2010 edition of Rotterdam International Film Festival.
