Brides of Blood is a monster romp that takes place in the tropics where all is not as it seems. Three Americans on a factfinding mission to a remote island discover that a deformed humanoid beast is terrorising the island’s inhabitants, horrifically dismembering and murdering the women. Together with the villagers, they must fight for their lives. Brides of Blood is the second film in the remastered Blood Island series – encompassing four horror ventures made in the Philippines by the two directors in the 1960s and early 1970s.
