Synopsis

Too shy to confess her feelings, Yuezhen coerces her reluctant best friend Kerou into approaching swimmer jock Shihao. Kerou would do anything for her friend, but calamity and angst arises when Shihao begins pursuing her instead. Pulled into a love triangle, Kerou finds herself in an impossible bind. To make matters worse, she harbours a deep secret: she is actually in love with Yuezhen.

Starring Gwei Lun-mei and Chen Bolin, Yee Chih-yen’s warm anthem of naivete brims with quaint nostalgia for after school shenanigans, handwritten love letters and y2k Taiwanese pop music. Blue Gate Crossing renders the teenage experience a dreamy, confusing but hopeful whirlwind.
