Synopsis

In the third and most uproarious instalment of the Crazy Bumpkins series, Ye Feng and Wang Sha once again bring to life the characters of Ah Niu, the naïve village bumpkin, and Uncle Chou, the crafty city slicker. This time, Ah Niu unwittingly acquires a bag of valuable jewels that drops from the sky and turns him wealthy overnight. What ensues are a slate of side-splitting misadventures, including a hilariously misguided visit to a brothel, a wedding night gone terribly awry, and numerous run-ins with both honest and corrupt police officers. The endearingly hapless hero once again finds himself in one predicament after another, leading to a less-than-ideal conclusion.
