Tight but natural direction amplifies this honest portrayal of Hong Kong school-life. We are shown the lives of 4 teens; Ma and Sze are buddies from the same school, whose enemy is Jaa, from another class. Also shown is Ming, a quiet and ‘weaker’ classmate of Jaa, and who is incessantly bullied. Ma and Sze challenge Jaa and company to a fight after school, but the duo are so absorbed in wrecking mischief that they miss their appointment. Their no-show at the proposed challenge leads to consequences shocking and disastrous.
