The Violin 小提琴

During the bustling times of the young Singapore a foreign trader leaves out of an impulse his violin with a local boy, who treasures the gift but has to leave it behind during Japanese occupation. The violin survives, forgotten on an attic, the war and is eventually re-discovered by a British family. The girl of the family becomes renowned violinist with this instrument, until she passes it on to her grandson. After all the adventures the violin is valued in modern Singapore as to the beginning of its journey. The circle closes with the grandson playing at Singapore river, where decades ago the trader gave it to the young boy.
