The Ghosts Must Be Crazy 鬼也笑

The Ghosts Must Be Crazy is a horror-comedy film with two separate stories. In “The Day Off”, Ah Nan and Ah Lei are buddies who want to skip their annual in-camp training. They try cheating for an MC but their Platoon Commander does not buy their act. During a trench digging drill, a fellow platoon mate feels unwell and soon faints. While being driven to the Medical Centre, the vehicle meets with an accident. Strange things start to happen as the rest continue digging the trench. In “Ghost Bride”, Ah Hui is a middle-aged man who has been down on his luck in love. At his lowest point, he meets a strange guy who promises to bring him fortune if he is willing to seek the deceased for help. Ah Hui heeds his advice and strange things start to occur.
