A Light in the Darkness 明月照灰霾

Buddhist monk Venerable Pu Liang and his disciples provided shelter to many refugees in his monastery during the Japanese Occupation of Singapore. Their efforts go unappreciated when the refugees express their mistrust against Pu Liang when one of them discovers the monks performing a death rite for a Japanese soldier. As the Japanese troops barge into the temple, Pu Liang has to decide if he should put others before himself.
