Matthew Chan

Matthew Chan is a Singapore-based writer and undergraduate Cinema and Media Studies major at the University of Southern California. He is a regular writer for the websites Talking Shorts and Sindie, focusing on covering Southeast Asian films and short films on the international festival circuit. He was part of the Youth Jury and Critics Programme of the 30th Edition of the Singapore International Film Festival and has also contributed pieces as a freelance film critic to several festivals: including the Encounters Film Festival and the Singapore International Film Festival as part of its New Waves Programme.
